Today’s Zumba dance workout will be a one-hour session designed to boost your metabolism, increase endurance, and have fun. We’ll be dancing to a variety of songs that include salsa, merengue, reggaeton, and more. The workout will be structured to keep you engaged while ensuring you get a full-body workout.

Warm-Up (10 Minutes)

  • March in place – 2 minutes
  • Side steps with shoulder rolls – 2 minutes
  • Grapevine steps – 2 minutes
  • Hip circles – 2 minutes
  • Light stretches – 2 minutes

Main Workout (40 Minutes)

  1. Salsa Routine: 10 minutes of basic salsa steps, side-to-side movements, and turns.
  2. Merengue Routine: 10 minutes of fast-paced merengue moves combined with arm movements.
  3. Reggaeton Routine: 10 minutes of high-energy reggaeton steps, including body rolls and hip-hop inspired figures.

  • Slow side steps with arm stretches – 2 minutes
  • Hip openings with deep breaths – 2 minutes
  • Quadriceps stretch and balance work – 2 minutes
  • Calm down with yoga poses (Child’s Pose, Cat-Cow) – 4 minutes
