Barre Workout for Flexibility and Core Strength

Engage your whole body with this invigorating barre workout for flexibility and core strength. Combining elements of ballet, Pilates, and yoga, this barre workout is designed to help you improve posture and balance while emphasizing core stability and flexibility. Warm-Up (5 minutes)

  • March in place – 60 seconds
  • Dynamic side lunges – 30 seconds each side
  • Arm circles – 30 seconds forward and backward
  • Walking high knees – 60 seconds

Core and Flexibility Workout (30 minutes)

Ballet-Inspired Movements

  • Plié Squats: 3 sets of 12 reps – Enhance leg strength while promoting flexibility.
  • Relevé Heel Raises: 3 sets of 15 reps – Strengthen your calves and hamstrings.
  • Tabletop Leg Extensions: 2 sets of 12 reps per leg – Focus on your glutes and core.

Pilates Core Focus

  • Pelvic Curl: 3 sets of 10 reps – Activate your glutes and lower abs.
  • Plank Leg Lifts: 3 sets, hold for 30 seconds each leg – Build core stability and strength.
